"Infiniti" means the Infiniti Europe division of Nissan International SA, with registered address at Zone d'Activités La Pièce 12, 1180 Rolle, Switzerland. Nissan International SA is a group company of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. of Japan.
  • "Cookies" mean a small data files created by our Site that is stored on your computer's hard drive.
  • "Personal Data" means data on any identified natural person using this Site as described in the Swiss Data Protection Act of 1992.
  • "Policy" means the Infiniti Site privacy policy. "Site" means the Infiniti website
  • "Swiss Data Protection Act" means the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection of June 19, 1992
  • "Third Party Providers" mean third party agents providing services to Infiniti subject to an agreement.

Infiniti will share your Personal Data with Authorised Dealers in your country of residence and other members of the Infiniti group of companies and its Third Party Providers who comply with this Privacy Policy, whether in Switzerland or abroad.  By agreeing to this Policy, you understand that the country of the recipient of the transferred Personal Data may not provide a similar, comparable or adequate level of data protection to the one provided by the Swiss Data Protection Act or the Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data done at Strasbourg on January 28, 1981, as they may be amended from time to time.


If you would prefer not to receive electronic communications providing information about products and services from Infiniti or its Third Party Providers, please inform Infiniti that you wish to opt out of receiving such information.


In accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act you may apply to see what Personal Data Infiniti holds in respect of you. Please contact Infiniti for further details as stated below. If you are an existing customer, Infiniti is allowed to go on using your personal information in order to administer its relationship with you.  An example might be that you have a contract of lease or hire.


Infiniti will only store your Personal Data only for as long as required to fulfill the purpose for which you provided your Personal Data.  Notwithstanding the foregoing, Infiniti may be legally obliged to keep your Personal Data on file after the end of the transaction which led to the collection of your Personal Data.


Infiniti will take all technical and organizational security measures to ensure your Personal Data is kept securely to protect your Personal Data against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access, and which provide a level of security appropriate to the risk represented by the processing and the nature of the Personal Data to be protected. Technological advances mean that safety measures are in place and will continue to be improved to safeguard you and your privacy. By sending your Personal Data to Infiniti, you agree that your Personal Data is not confidential to Infiniti, Authorised Dealers in your country of residence, the Infiniti group of companies and its Third Party Providers. Infiniti will ensure Authorised Dealers in your country of residence, the Infiniti group of companies and its Third Party Providers have the appropriate technical and organization measures to maintain the confidentiality and security of your Personal Data. Only authorized personnel of Infiniti, Authorised Dealers in your country of residence, the Infiniti group of companies and Third Party Providers with a duty of confidentiality which persists after the termination of employment may collect, process or access your Personal Data.

Customer Data Privacy

The personal information requested from the customer at the time of the Test Drive is essential to INFINITI Europe (a division of NISSAN international) for processing the said Test Drive.

This personal information is centralized in a secured data base whose content can be accessed by service providers for exclusive technical reasons guaranteeing the security of the processing as well as the hosting. This personal information can be communicated to companies in the NISSAN group, including service subsidiaries and to members of the Infiniti dealer network, in order to supply the customer with a quality service adapted to his/her particular needs (via in particular customer satisfaction surveys, statistical and technical analysis, direct marketing campaigns, mystery shopping campaigns and any eventual recall campaigns) but also to look out for propositions to the customer about commercial offers that are always more beneficial to them. In this context, the personal information of the customer can be transferred to Nissan International, in Switzerland, which is considered a country assuring a high level of personal data protection (decision No.2000/518/CE), as well as NISSAN motor company, Ltd., in Japan and if required, at the companies of the NISSAN group situated in the USA, under a contract based on the Model Clauses published by the European commission. Some of the processed data can finally be communicated to third parties in trade relations with NISSAN, bound by a confidentiality agreement.

Upon furnishing a proof of identity, the customer has a right to access and rectify the data concerning him as well as the right to object to the processing of this personal data by contacting us at our Customer Services Department– INFINITI Europe (a division of NISSAN International), Zone d'Activité La Piece 12, 1180 Rolle – Switzerland.
